Owner Robert Schubert was building on the tradition of spectacular organically grown vegetables when he purchased 10 acres of Wheatland Farms from DC farmers market veterans Chip and Susan Planck.
In its first season at the Courthouse Farmers' Market in Arlington and the University of Maryland market, Lydia's Fields quickly became a go-to stop for shoppers wanting reasonably priced delicious heirloom tomatoes, arugula, lettuce, turnips, beets, squash and other greens. Come try for yourself
