The Loudoun Valley HomeGrown Markets Association sponsors seven Farmers' Markets in Loudoun County. These are HomeGrown, Producer Only Markets* meaning that the people selling you the food are the people who grow the food. They stand behind their products 100%.
By buying your fruits, vegetables, meats and eggs at the Farmers' Markets you are supporting local agriculture, as all the vendors are local to this area. That means you are also getting the very freshest produce possible as many crops are picked and brought to market within 24 hours.
*Our vendors undergo inspection from time-to-time and if they are found to be re-selling products that they do not produce themselves they will be removed and terminated from our markets.
At each market you can meet the farmers and learn how they grow their crops, where they come from, what is in season, and why they choose to farm. Also get to know local artisans, bakers, food purveyors and our market managers. We believe that a day at the farmers market will get your excited about making healthy food choices by building a sense of connection to the people who grow our food.
The Spring / Summer Market season begins the first week in May and continues through October. The Winter Market season begins the first weekend in November and continues through April. There are six market locations for the summer markets but currently only one location for the winter market. Leesburg is our winter market. Please click on the specific market above or on the menu bar at the left of this page for market updates, vendors, days, times, hours of operation and directions.
Also, please do your part to eliminate plastic from the farmers market by bringing your own reusable bags, containers, mugs, even dining set!
If you would like to participate as a vendor, applications can be located here.
