The 2011 Summer Season of the Ashburn Farmers Market is Saturday, May 7 from 8am-Noon! Shop the Market located in the Ashburn Crossroads Restaurant Park every Saturday through October 30, 2011. The Ashburn Farmers Market is run by the Loudoun Valley HomeGrown Markets Cooperative, Inc. and is dedicated to providing a place for local farms and food artisans to sell their wares. Everything sold at the Market is raised, grown or made from scratch by the seller--when you buy food direct from the farmer, you know where your food comes from! Shopping local Farmers Markets is both good for you and good for the local economy. Dollars spent at Farmers Markets help preserve farmland, support local farm families and strengthen the community.
